ORDERS
- Orders must be paid in full before processing begins.
- The lead time for your order starts when full payment is received.
PICKUP POLICY
- For store or warehouse pickups, our delivery department will contact you to schedule the pickup day and time.
- Customers are fully responsible for transporting and loading their merchandise without assistance from Borntomovefurniture employees.
- Borntomovefurniture does not supply packaging for floor model pickups.
STORAGE FEES
- If the customer is not reachable to schedule or is not ready for delivery/pickup when the merchandise is ready, a storage fee of 5% of the merchandise value will apply each month after the first 60 days.
DELIVERY SCHEDULING
- The delivery date provided on your order is estimated and may change due to circumstances beyond our control.
- If you need to reschedule delivery, a 48-hour notice is required.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- Orders can be canceled or revised within 3 days of placing the order unless delivery is scheduled.
- After the 3-day grace period, cancellations or changes will incur a 40% restocking fee.
RETURN POLICY
- Merchandise in new condition may be returned within 5 days of delivery.
- Returns are subject to a 40% restocking fee and an additional $180 delivery charge.
- Floor samples and clearance items are sold “AS-IS” and are not returnable.
FLOOR SAMPLES
- All floor sample sales are final.
- Floor samples cannot be revised, canceled, or returned.
WARRANTY
- Frame Warranty: Borntomovefurniture offers a lifetime warranty on product frames from the date of purchase.
- Material and Upholstery Warranty: A 6-year limited warranty applies to materials, mechanisms, and upholstery (fabric, leather, foam, lacquer) for material failure. This excludes wear and tear or natural characteristics.
- Self-assembly voids the warranty.
DELIVERY POLICY
- Borntomovefurniture is not responsible for damages to items not properly removed before our delivery team’s arrival.
- Delivery crew members are not authorized to:
- Move items other than the merchandise being delivered.
- Mount or drill merchandise onto walls.
- Connect or disconnect any media equipment.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring the furniture fits through all elevators, stairwells, corridors, and doorways. If the furniture does not fit:
- A 40% restocking fee and additional delivery fee will apply.
PACKING SLIP POLICY
- At the time of delivery, inspect all furniture carefully.
- Damaged or missing items must be noted on the packing slip before the delivery crew departs.
- No refund or recourse is available if damages or issues are not documented on the packing slip.
- If someone else receives the merchandise on your behalf, they must inspect and document any issues. Their signature is binding.
